The story of the movie ’Uda Aida’ revolves around a Punjabi woman and her dream to teach her son English language but her husband doesn't like the English language but his wife does the work day and night for learning English and teach her son English language. This woman wants her son goes to a convent school for his studies. This woman also doesn't like those people who don't know the English language. From the starting scene of the trailer, we see a woman reciting English words.

This movie also reflects the reality of Punjab as most of the families don't like the Punjabi language but wants to learn about the English language. Most of the families live in Punjab want their children to do a study in highly reputed English medium convent school but they don't realize the importance of Punjabi alphabet and they don't teach their children Punjabi language.
